Dustin Nowaskie, MD

Dustin Nowaskie, MD (they/them/theirs) Dr. Nowaskie is a queer, nonbinary psychiatrist. Their personal identification and civic commitment have cultivated into a passion to help LGBTQ+ communities. They are the Founder, President, and Chief Medical Officer of the national nonprofit LGBTQ+ health equity organization OutCare Health, which provides access to LGBTQ+ information, resources, programming, mentorship, education, training, research, and providers for millions across the world. A Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Southern California and Gold Humanism Honor Scholar of the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Nowaskie’s clinical and philanthropic work has led to several national accolades, presentations, and publications as well as diversity awards from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, American Medical Association, Tylenol Future Care Foundation, Gamma Mu Foundation, Association of LGBTQ+ Psychiatrists, World Professional Association for Transgender Health, and Out to Innovate. Their ultimate goal is to transform their might into a powerful unicorn of social and public health change for LGBTQ+ people.

Jonathan Leeman, MD

Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center

Dr. Leeman is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School and serves as the director of MRI guided and adaptive radiotherapy at the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center in Boston, MA. He received his AB from Harvard College and is a graduate of the Physician Scientist Training Program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY where he served as Chief Resident. His clinical expertise lies in the areas of MRI guided radiotherapy, adaptive radiotherapy and prostate cancer. His research focuses on the application of MR imaging technology and adaptive radiotherapy for the advancement of prostate cancer treatment to improve treatment outcomes by reducing side effects of treatment and improving disease control for patients at all stages of disease.

Jeffrey Albaugh, PhD, APRN, CUCNS

Dr. Jeffrey Albaugh is a board-certified Advanced Practice Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist, researcher, and author based in Chicago with over 30 years of experience caring for individuals with sexual dysfunction. He is also a Certified Sexuality Counselor. He hosts his own podcast "Dr. Jeff Talks about Sex & Intimacy on Tuesday evenings at 7PM. Dr. Albaugh has his own clinc at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, serving Veterans. Previously, he was the Director of Sexual Health at Endeavor/NorthShore University HealthSystem and held a similar role at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. His NIH-funded PhD research at the University of Illinois in Chicago focused on quality of life in men with sexual dysfunction following prostatectomy for prostate cancer. An internationally recognized expert and speaker, Dr. Albaugh has presented across the United States and in countries including Spain, Italy, Scotland, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. A prolific author, he has contributed numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and published his own books including "Reclaiming Sex & Intimacy after Prostate Cancer 2nd Edition".. His contributions have been recognized with multiple honors, including nursing excellence awards, SUNA President’s Awards, the Patient’s First Award from Northwestern, and the Edward C. Kaps Hope Award for his work with men facing prostate cancer. A trusted voice in the media, Dr. Albaugh has been featured on WGN News, CBS 2 Chicago, and in the Chicago Tribune, where he was highlighted in the “Ask the Expert” column.

Joseph D. Shirk, MD

Greater Los Angeles VA Health System David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA

Joseph D. Shirk, MD is the Chief of Urology and Director of the Clinical Procedures Center at the Greater Los Angeles VA Health System and Assistant Professor of Urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.Dr. Shirk earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his intern year at Boston Medical Center and subsequently completed his urology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and urologic oncology fellowship training at UCLA’s Institute of Urologic Oncology (IUO) and David Geffen School of Medicine.Dr. Shirk performs complex urologic oncology operations, including robotic prostatectomy, cystectomy, partial nephrectomy, retroperitoneal lymph node dissection, and tumor thrombectomy. His primary research interests include the development and use of advanced, innovative imaging techniques.  He is the cofounder of Ceevra, Inc, which is a company that has developed an AI driven platform to create 3D, digital images that surgeons use to guide their operations.

Elisabeth Heath, MD, FACP

Mayo Clinic

Dr. Elisabeth Heath is a nationally and internationally recognized expert in genitourinary oncology, serving as the Chair of the Department of Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She specializes in clinical and translational research, focusing on early-phase and genitourinary clinical trials and addressing important health disparities. Her expertise covers a range of genitourinary cancers, including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Heath has led large-scale, multi-institutional, peer-reviewed research initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration across medical disciplines. Her goal is to integrate research and clinical practice, translating scientific discoveries into real-world treatments.

Dr. Heath is also committed to improving patient access to care and their experience during treatment. She emphasizes collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to achieve holistic, effective patient outcomes. Her leadership and innovative approaches have advanced the understanding and treatment of genitourinary cancers while shaping cancer care practices both nationally and internationally. Through her work, Dr. Heath continues to contribute significantly to the oncology community, with a focus on patient-centered care and health equity.

Alicia Morgans, MD

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Dr. Morgans is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, a Genitourinary Medical Oncologist and the Director of the Survivorship Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a clinician and investigator, she has expertise in clinical trials and patient-reported outcome measures, as well as incorporating patient preferences and beliefs into clinical decision making. Her research has investigated complications of systemic therapy for prostate cancer survivors, including the study of skeletal, cardiovascular, diabetic, and cognitive complications, and her work has been funded by grants from the Prostate Cancer Foundation , the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, and the Department of Defense. She leads multiple therapeutic and quality of life focused clinical trials for prostate cancer patients, and has participated in the advanced and localized prostate cancer treatment guidelines committees of the American Urologic Association, and the cardio-oncology committee of American Heart Association.
